American Standard metal halide is mainly filled with Sc and Na, also named as Sc-Na metal halide. While European Standard metal halide is filled with Na, TI, Im and other rare earth element, which is called Rare Earth metal halide as well.

Manufactured as per American standard ANSIC78
CWA ballast shall be in place, no trigger, high capability of anti-voltage fluctuation
Long lifetime, up to 20000 H
High luminous efficiency, without igniting position limit
Suitable for floodlighting, outdoor advertising board, industry lighting, gym lighting and golf course, ect
Use SWA ballast to start up
If American metal halide is ignited in European circuit,
the bulb may be burn out
hard to start up and greatly shorten lifespan
negative effect on power, luminous efficiency and color temperature
